So it's been a couple of months and I'm not as good as updating this blog as I probably should be. But when you have had fishing like we have had for the past couple months you just want to spend every minute on the water! I would like to thank everybody that has gone, we have had a great season so far with lots and lots of first timers catching there first salmon. And we have been using our brand new Wooldridge 23' fishing machine that has been absolutely amazing and I encourage anybody looking at boats to check them out I love mine! So to recap the past couple months we have had great sockeye fishing at both Brewster and Lake Wenatchee was especially good. We have had better than average king fishing also in the Upper Columbia river that started nice and early in the season and is still fishing pretty good. We fished kings mostly with Pautzke Fire Brine herring and had good success fishing both Brewster and also the Chelan Falls fishery as well for kings. Now looking forward they are predicting over 500,000 up river brights or fall run kings that are headed to the Hanford reach area, where we will be to intercept these large kings. These are typically the largest fish of the year. As the morning get cooler the fishing gets hotter.  We will be trolling Fire brined herring or back trolling Pautzke fire cured eggs behind a diver as well as some wrapped plugs and just wait for the Fetha Styx rods to buckle. The limit is 2 fish and they can be hatchery or wild which is a nice change. I have several openings in September and early October to get these fish just let me know and get your trip now before it fills up.  Here are some pics from the past coupe months look forward to seeing you on the water!
